Building together for decent homes

Communities building a path towards home ownership.

The Uganda Housing Cooperative Union Limited (UHOCU) is a national body for housing cooperatives in Uganda. We work with Primary Housing Cooperative Societies, community groups, development partners and public institutions to make cooperative housing an inclusive, sustainable response to land and housing needs.

Members pool resources, build their skills and create practical routes to land, decent homes, better livelihoods and secure tenure.
